Fundraiser

I am one of the chair people for an upcoming fundraiser for Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation of Arizona. We host the event at the Val Vista Lakes Clubhouse each year. Last year the event raised almost $50,000 for JDRF!!! This year the event, “An Enchanted Evening”, will be held March 28, 2008 from 6pm-11pm. Outback Steakhouse if providing appetizers, dinner and dessert. Vine Expressions is supplying the wine and Instant Classics (live band) is providing the entertainment. It will be a fun filled evening with food, fun and fundraising (we do a live auction and silent auction as well). Tickets are $50 per person and all of the proceeds go to finding a cure for this devastating disease that kills one American every 3 minutes.

I am requesting that you send an email to all of your Gilbert and Tempe Agents announcing this event. Because it is a fundraiser, it is a good business write off (they can purchase tickets as a “closing gift” for a client or take a few people from their sphere of influence), and it would also be a fantastic way to network, and advertise (the event usually sells approx. 200 tickets…….wouldn’t it be nice to pass out 200 business cards in a night?) and lastly, if Keller Williams can get a minimum of 20 people to go (at $50 per ticket = $1000….this becomes corp. advertising and KW would get their name in the program and publically announced at the event).

Thank you in advance for doing your part to find a cure for Juvenile Diabetes. Just in typing this email, 9 more cases (children) just got diagnosed with the disease. This could have been our children, grandchildren, nieces, or nephews.
